Losses in Glint Solar vs. losses in PVsyst

The table below shows how losses recorded in Glint Solar correspond to losses recorded in PVsyst.

Bifaciality-In PVsyst, "bifaciality" is the performance factor of the back side relative to the front side. For example, if the bifaciality is 0.7, this means that the back side will be 70% as good as the front side. In Glint Solar, "Bifacial gain" instead corresponds to the bifacial gain, which is displayed as a gain in the loss diagram in PVsyst.
Irradiances dependencies-Glint Solar does not explicitly state how much is lost due to low irradiation levels. However, this is taken into account in the conversion of irradiation into electricity.

Mismatching ModulesMismatch lossesMatch losses due to shading are calculated in "electrical losses due to shading" in Glint Solar.

DC cablingWiring lossesGlint Solar captures "connection losses". Connection losses are the losses between cabling and diodes.
AC cabling
HTA cabling
Transformer Glint solar does not yet support transformers.
InverterInverterOnly in the pattern of losses. It is not possible to make inverter losses.
Auxiliaires-Glint Solar has no โ€œauxiliaryโ€ losses. To add these losses, you can add the losses to other loss categories (fouling or conductors).
Additional-Glint Solar does not have an "other" loss category.
