Visualize shadows on panels in 3D

The 3D shadow visualization feature is a powerful tool to help you understand and plan for the impact of shade on your solar project. You can access it in 3D mode, as shown in the video below.

By moving the slider, you can see how nearby 3D objects, like trees or buildings, cast shadows on your panels throughout the seasons and at different times of day. This visual guide helps you:

• Mitigate Shading Risk: Use the tool to identify areas that receive too much shade.
• Optimize Your Design: Exclude heavily shaded zones from your panel layout to improve performance.

Important Note: The shadows shown in this 3D visualization are for guidance only and are not automatically factored into the yield calculation. If you want to account for shading losses, you can still enter a custom value in the Losses section of your design.
