Publish PV profiles

Introduction

For solar professionals managing multiple portfolios within an organization, effectively setting up and sharing PV profiles is crucial. This feature allows users to publish profiles that can be accessed across all organization portfolios, ensuring that everyone is using the same assumptions and reducing the risk of accidental changes. By investing time and effort into creating these profiles, teams can enhance their efficiency and consistency.

Publish PV Profiles

You can now share PV profiles across multiple portfolios within the same organization. This feature allows for enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.

How It Works

1. Create and Publish a Profile:
   • A PV engineer (for instance) can create a PV profile in any portfolio and click on Publish to share it across multiple portfolios. (Please note that you need to be an organization admin to publish profiles.)
   • This action shares the profile with the entire organization, indicating that it has been published.
2. Start Using the Profile:

• Once published, developers can Start using this profile in their respective portfolios.
• The published profile can then be added to any other portfolio in the organization.
• Note that the "added" profile can only be edited by an admin in the portfolio from which it was published.

Important Note

Publishing a profile does not make it public for anyone to see. Only members of the organization (including guest users) can access the published profiles.
